Preparation for Surgery

After selecting a surgery date, a separate preoperative appointment will be scheduled with one of our nurses. During this visit nurses will provide extensive verbal and written information regarding preoperative preparation and postoperative care. Our nurses are experts in evaluating the specific concerns of our patients. They also arrange for private duty nurses if indicated. Those interested in seeing Dr. Hidalgo again will have a preoperative appointment scheduled accordingly. Surgery is performed in our operating suite and the majority of patients return home the same day.

Follow-Up After Surgery

The surgical fee includes as many postoperative visits as necessary to provide complete medical care. The number of visits and the interval between visits is procedure specific. Postoperative visits are scheduled to accommodate travel plans for our out-of-town patients.
