Abdominoplasty scars take a long time to mature and look their best. Scars are often red and raised for well over a year before they begin to remodel significantly. I am always impressed how good they look many years later, like this case 7 years after the fact. Abdominoplasties are one of the few true one-and-done plastic surgery procedures.

Upper eyelid surgery was done here together weakening of the “11” muscles by partial removal. The latter can reduce or eliminate the need for BOTOX going forward. Some might have also recommended a brow lift in this case. The brow lifts that work are big procedures that most patients are averse to once described. Here, maximum benefit was achieved without it.

While introduced in the U.S. only a year ago, Motiva implants have an established worldwide safety record of more than 10 years. Placing them in front of the muscle is a relatively painless procedure with a quick recovery. Indeed, some surgeons are putting them in under local anesthesia only. Motiva implants are not for everyone but, as stated, increases the options for choosing the best procedure for each individual.
