What are shaped breast implants? Shaped breast implants, also known as anatomic or tear-drop implants, have an asymmetric shape with a round base that tapers to a thin top (Figure 1). They are designed to mimic the natural downward slope of the upper breast while providing sufficient volume in their lower portion to enlarge it.

It’s true, lower eyelids are much more complex to rejuvenate than uppers. Surgery is commonly required from both the inside (fat bag removal access) as well as the outside (loose skin removal). Additionally, skin resurfacing for finely etched-in lines may be necessary with either a laser or chemical peel. Finally, older patients with loose, droopy eyelids may require a lid tightening procedure. Nevertheless, remarkable transformations are commonly possible!
