It is important not to change the shape of the eye opening or add any artificial elements, just restore a clean and natural appearance. This patient could have been improved further with a brow lift but that is a much more complex undertaking and not to everyone’s liking.

First-time facelifts can be very successful even the seventies. While more fat padding present in younger patients softens the look, excellent contours can nevertheless be re-established in this age group. The healing period and recovery is no different than for those in their 50’s-60’s and satisfaction rates are the same or better!
